What an absolutely outstanding read. While not surprised to hear how corrupt the AFL are/continue to be, I didn’t realise just how bad it is and it continues right now with them using Joel Smith as the scape goat to protect their putrid drug policy which is solely designed for one perspire, to protect the AFL head honcho's. And the financial wheeling and dealing with stadium catering rights etc. is just astounding. If you haven’t read this do so, you will have a completely different view of the AFL and I reckon you might even change your thoughts on the Essendon drug saga and I am a Hawks supporter who has continually labelled them cheats. Seems to me a club in hoops and a club owned. T the AFL might have conveniently gotten away with this while Essendon and particularly James Hird have taken the wrap.
