Genuinely feminist. Amazing diverse world. The way sexual and racial equality is integrated as wholly normal is so refreshing. I absolutely loved it. The creatures are incredible (some Star Wars-esque) and the character depth is way more than you’ll expect, even for side characters. Things I used to think of as handicaps I see on characters who thoroughly rival any other. The deaf warrior was one of my favorites (and yes! She’s a woman!). Seeing male not be the default for random creatures and the female animals not feminized (ie a squirrel with mascara) is something I needed. Thank you to the animators, creators, and everyone else involved!
