Why the disparity between critic reviews and viewer reviews? Because this movie is a man-hating, girlpower, SJW freak fest with plot holes sprinkled throughout. There once was a time when entertainment mediums were just that- entertainment mediums. Now it seems like you can't watch anything without some sort of social or political commentary embedded in the plot. If this keeps on, I'll be forced to start reading books for my entertainment; or worse still, go outside.

This movie had all the initial makings of a great; alas, it was not to be. The first 20 minutes or so are gripping, mysterious and the characters, enthralling. Well acted, too. Unfortunately, it falls flat on its face soon after.
