It was epic. It is hard not to fall in love with Wei wuxian. I mean the kid like expressiveness and pure sense of freedom in his character. The darkness in his character after the burial mounds scene and the mischief when he comes back as Mo Xuanyu makes you feel so proud about Xiao Zhan's acting. He was the centre of attraction. On the other hand, Wang Yibo was fabulous too. You kind of fall for Lan Wangji every time he opens his mouth( we all know that was rare). His acting was spot on. Drunk Wangji is the cutest of all. The story was not typical BL but you know how they both feel for each other. For me the best episode was the golden core. It just blows your mind in one shot and you realise Wei wuxian was so worthy of a good life yet he always lived for others. I cried a lot watching that one. I really think this is the best series one can ever watch. Watch it and you will feel so blessed for being born. The whole idea of using negative energy as a source was really out of the box.
