I have played every madden since Madden 16 and this is by far the worst one yet. The addition of QB1 was a great idea but EA have put no effort into the story - it’s as basic as it can be. So I’ve resorted to just playing franchise mode now and I don’t really know why. Franchise is at it’s all time low. The addition of superstar X-factors has made players ridiculously overpowered leading to me completely turning off the abilities whenever I start a new franchise. For instance, superstar X-Factor defensive backs are practically impossible to complete any intermediate length passes against and X-Factor linebackers seem to be able to force fumbles every single time they tackle. To make things worse, receivers seem to have a complete lack of coordination and will continue to run their routes out of bounds instead of stopping on the sidelines. Then when they do stop on the sidelines they decide to take a step backward out of bounds when trying to catch the ball. Finally, I have not yet been able to complete a deep pass because defensive backs seem to have superhuman recovery skills even against top tier receivers! 3/10 at best, would not recommend
