I see a lot of flack about this movie, especially with the way God is portrayed in human form...God should not be kept in our tiny little boxes - God can take on any form he wants and he has. We understand that God is referred to as "he," in the Bible, but then again, he also took on the form of a burning bush...God can do whatever he wants. I think the creator of his film did good portraying God the way he did - God is presented as a warm, compassionate character, and I think the actress that took on this role, did a great job! This movie gave me a greater love for God and Jesus - their compassion for us humans is what really got me. It's one thing to read about the Holy Trinity in the Bible, but it's another thing to see their roles played out in front of you. I sobbed a couple of times in this film, especially the part where the main character goes out on the boat and starts to sink, and then Jesus shows up and tells him to focus on him rather than the storm. Great movie, you just need to step out of your little box, in order to enjoy it.
