While I like this show I have a concern about the scene in the first episode. Quinta Brunson walks into the bathroom with a young female student and there is a substitute teacher in the bathroom with a young male student. After some conversation the main character takes the little boy to her room to change his clothes leaving the little girl with the male substitute teacher in the bathroom. My stomach dropped. As a teacher I know never to be alone with a child both to protect the child and myself from being accused of doing anything improper. I felt this put teachers in a bad light. I know this is a comedy but I also thought the intent was to show how caring teachers are. Leaving a little girl with a sub in a bathroom is big NO! If this is okay on TV is the message that this is happening routinely in our schools? I hope you have a seasoned teacher who has actually spent some time in elementary schools teaching who is screening the scripts. Please don't let something like this happen again.
