I like the feel and the vibe of the show - calm, good conversations and positive. Lately, I've seen lots of shows on HBO with aggressive female hosts, who raise their voices, almost yelling, and dominating the partner. Shows with mostly boring conversations between the hosts, usually husband and wife, where every other word is "like", "kind of", "honestly ", etc. I can't listen. This show stands out in that respect, specially in season 2. It's a dad and daughter show now. I love it! I don't always like Gray's choice of colors. But I don't care. I love to watch the interaction between the dad and daughter. And that's what makes it special. It's a feel good show.

I enjoy the show and watching mom and daughter's dynamic. Just a feel good show! Love it! The only episode I did not like is in season 2, episode 4, where daughter Grace remodeled her log cabin. She painted the entire living/kitchen white and, her log house looks like a beach house inside. It wouldn't be too bad if they didn't show mom' s earlier remodel of another log house. It took my breath away, just so beatiful and tasteful and still felt like a log house! Daughter's design was a bla in comparison. I still love the show. I just felt bad for the log house. What was Grace thinking???

I don't know how shows like that make it to the 3rd season. And I actually liked Egypt in another show. Her husband seems nice, just a nice couple..BUT...the narration is so boring to listen. i forwarded to the end of the 1st episode just to see the results. i think i'm done with this show.

I like the history, listen to the stories, etc. I appreciate all that. However, the narrative was so boring, i couldn't finish first episode.

I loved Kim in Survivor, so decided to watch her design show. I barely finished 1st episode. One word. BOOORING.

I love it! I love the interaction between Hillary and David. So amusing to watch them..such a feel good show.

Just a feel good show! I like Jenny' s energy, her smile and laughter.

I love their personalities, so genuine and warm. Not boring conversations at all between the spouses and their clients (unlike few other shows HBO has on, where spouses remodeling people's houses. My brain shrinks while listening to those). This one is a calm and feel good show. Great show oveall!

Finally the show with the individuals who can have an intellectual and genuine conversations. I enjoyed this show very much!
