I was really enjoying the plot and the portrayal of teen peer dynamics, until the focus seemed to change to depictions of same-sex relationships, in a way that seemed unrelated to the original, ominous, mysterious, story that reminded me of Stranger Things. Because of that I lost interest in the show. I'm so sorry that this show did not stick to the great plot that it had. I also was somewhat surprised about the copious use of the "F" word by the kids as well as the adults. I am aware that many late teens and young adults talk this way, however, normalizing this type of speech does not have any redeeming value, and detracts from the plot. I really wanted to like this show, but it seemed to veer off course into confusion.
