I really wanted to like this show, but it falls flat on so many levels. The show unlike it's predecessor keeps going for the easy solution. The premise was not terrible, but there isnt any character development or it doesnt make any sense. Everything gets resolved rather quickly, generally over 1 or maybe 2 episodes. I got to the point where Riku is determined to be working with zero/kirinmaru or w/e. No one really cared. Towa's reaction was instead like sure "I like like you too, heres my special item" The drama between Inuyasha, Kagome, Kikiyo. Miroku and the wind tunnel, miroku and sango, etc. These were plot lines that extended throughout the original series that gave it depth. These characters were written as flawed, making poor decisions in believable ways that gave the story a lot of humanity. There is nothing like that here. It feels like bad filler.
