Gee, I wonder...did I see the same film as everyone else? Not only was Streep’s performance outstanding, but the broken relationships between ... everyone, left me so piqued, I couldn’t fall asleep until after 3 am with the help of a pill. So wonderful to see these three great actors, leaving me amongst those who wonder why Alice wanted them with her on the trip. So many unresolved issues. So much time passed between them, so many words strung together beautifully. And seeing the ships interiors and decks...well it’s a long time I’m missing all that.
