Nessa Carey

It's a film that for me tries too hard to be clever and that's disappointing. I would have expected better from Jordan Peele...as I am a fan and feel almost desperate for his success as a black man in Hollywood. This film is complicated beyond what it ought to be. The blurring or blending of genre doesn't work for me. If it's allegory then let it be. But for viewers to go beyond...is tricky.
