This is something of a “who-dunnit”. Nice characterisation. A few red herrings along the way. A good watch.

What a bunch of repetitive BS this turns into. It starts well enough, but quickly degenerates into a circular story that’s punctuated with increasingly violent and graphic death and torture scenes. Plot spoiler: most of the main characters die more than once, and are reincarnated. And given the level of cinematic violence, and appreciating that this is not a documentary, the police seem to have given up and home. London should be under curfew given the events that unfold. I like gritty TV, but this exists just to shock. My spaniel could write a more engaging plot line.

On almost every level this film fails to live up to the original, or even raise a smile too often. While keeping some of the original characters, very few of the voiceovers have been carried forward. So before you start, you’re forced to confront the fact that this a poor relation to the original. The plot is basically the same, the jokes are generally stale, and most of the wit and intelligence has been lost.
