WARNING the ending is sad as the dog gets put down at the end of the movie. I take it as not all movies have happy endings. I cried a lot and wanted the dog to live. It does have a good message though when you adopt a dog it becomes apart of your family and you realize you appreciate your fur baby more even when it is a bad or a good dog. That’s essentially the message of Marley and Me even though Marley wasn’t a well behaved dog the Grogans loved him deeply and knew he was still a great dog despite being a bad dog a lot. I loved it and was emotional but great movie!
