I went into this knowing nothing about the original(starting with a clean slate of sorts) and honestly, it's not good. It may get better but aren't shows supposed to grab your attention from the beginning. They crammed so many scenes and dialogue into the first episode to catch people up and still failed to. Everything is disjointed and forced. I found myself saying huh a lot. Boorman's humour is the only thing that was fun. I really have no desire to continue.
