They butchered it. Plain and simple. VFX and world building they nailed but sacrificed the soul of the show. They mixed things around, the line delivery is so bad. The characters try too hard and they took away what made the character great. Aang is meant to be a child, who has issues facing his responsibility all the way until the end but somehow magically he seems to take on the responsibility straight away. Roku is made to look a goof, Bumi is found out straight away but then the story carries on with no sense. It’s a straight up mess. Sokka was great, Katara is great. The casting seems to hit the mark when it comes to appearances but damn it’s disappointing.
