The idea of the remake had me skeptical, but I still watched this movie with an open mind and heart. I didn’t go and buy tickets, I waited until the movie was on Disney so it wouldn’t be a waste of my money if the movie was terrible. And I just have to say, I’m so extremely happy I didn’t waste a cent of my cash on this movie. The acting is the most horrendous acting I think I’ve ever seen, it was like watching an elementary school play rehearsal. There was absolutely no feeling at all in the words being said. Where words needed to be stronger, it just came off flat. It just seemed as if the actors were just reading off their script the whole movie. Which is such a huge disappointment because Melissa is such a great actress but oh my god, probably the worst acting ever. This movie has to be one of the worst Disney remakes. Please Disney, next time just make a whole brand new story.
