Absolute rubbish. It was this is England dressed in period costume. Dressed actors up and let them rant away in modern speech. I know the series is supposedly a prequel to the novel but it bears no resemblance in anyway whatsoever to either the time period or actual events The characters portrayed were totally out of context to the actual coiners who forced people physically to hand over money to be clipped. They are made out to be Robin hood in this. Doing it for the good of the community. A very poor 3 hours of tv. Can't say anything good about it
