Watched this flick last night. What comes immediately to my mind is how Yograj Bhat films have not progressed one inch technically since Mungarumale. The dialogues, narration, storytelling or the framing and editing are as juvenile as they were back then. Mr.Yograj Bhat I assume is a humanist and socialist comic bordering communist. His films have always been a light hearted satire of Indian culture. I have never come across one film of his that has the slightest appreciation for Dharmic way of life. His disdain was broadly evident in Vastuprakara where he is openly making a mockery of Vaastushastra. Similarly in this movie too there is a mockery being made of the Aghori sanyasis. Diganth's character goes to Himalayas in search of enlightenment and is almost sodomised by the Aghoris that scars him for life. This I believe is far from the truth. The film perse is entertaining and hits all the right spots if you ignore everything said above. I am a proud proud Kannadiga. But Dharma above Bhashe! Bhattre Aamir Khan nodi... Devlu nimge sadbuddhi kalunisli..... Siligannadam Gelgay Siligannadam Valgay!
