The use of rogue AI as enemy is trite - it should have been intelligent insects or some such. I liked the moon as a space traveling ark. It was a new idea to me & very good. I've also always liked the idea of the Earth being "seeded" from a galaxy far, far away. The special effects were great (in theater). Compared to a lot of the stuff at the moment a 5.
