Its very woke, over the top CGI crap! They changed the characters (the remakes made today seem to be obsessed by people of colour and a different race etc) and the storyline is all messed up, too much special effects using CGI which ruins it completely and doesn't come anywhere near to the original acting and isn't true to the book either! Its not even scary! DO NOT RECOMMEND

It's a great laugh out loud mini series that I came across by accident (I don't have Netflix I found it on the web) and it's typical British slapstick humour from one of the best actors out there who knows what comedy is all about. The delivery of the story was great and easy to follow and it was a real pleasure to watch. If you are a fan of Rowan Atkinson (blackadder, mr bean, johnny English to name a few) you will love this mini series. It makes a good change from all the woke nonsense on tv which is mean to be comedy but is the opposite these days! There’s even a reference in the first episode regarding a cherry Bakewell cake as first seen in a mr bean episode also involving a bee /fly 😄 🐝 Don't know what all the bad reviews are complaining about it not being funny....probably just a bunch of woke snowflakes that are triggered by just about anything. I'd recommend this for older adults, not kids, as kids today are too offended by British classic humour. (Unfortunately!) Great watch, highly recommended. Oh, and one more thing......there's a BEE on you! 😂

never actually seen the drama but have visited the place it was filmed many times. Manor farm is a great place to visit for a day out with the kids or if you are an animal lover like me! I got to feed a baby lamb when I last went there!
