Judy Woodruff's panel discussion on the Afghan crisis tonight provided few insights that hadn't been covered at length by other news programs. They hashed over who wins in the next election on this issue and made no mention of the Taliban grabbing abandoned Afghan military weapons and equipment, much of it supplied by the U.S. The Taliban is now better armed due to the U.S. pull-out. Frightening to think what the Taliban's future plans are for Pakistan. You remember, that bordering country that's armed with nuclear weapons. Let's hope that PBS News will start doing
their homework and add some depth to their coverage.
