Having watched the first two episodes - not my choice but that of my better half - I can categorically say this is, in my opinion, an absolute stinker! Utter dross, conceived/written by someone who apparently has absolutely no knowledge or understanding of the British intelligence community or how anything works in the real world! I must say, I don’t have personal knowledge of the intelligence world, but I do have experience of life & this is so totally removed from reality that it is utterly incredible. The interpersonal relations, the dialogue, plot sequence… really everything involved is totally unbelievable, acted or directed by seriously under-talented performers. If you were to compare Treason with Apple TV’s Slow Horses you’d realise just how cruddy Treason is… and Slow Horses ain’t that hot! How or why it ever saw the light of day is totally beyond me!
