If there's a rating I can give above 5 then I'll gladly do it. Thankfully, this story was introduced to us in our English class way back 2017, and based from what I could recall, we were asked to analyze this short story. I have a love for reading when I was still a junior, but when it comes to understanding what it meant, I had a hard time. I used to read this story for 2 or three times more to understand it. If I'm not mistaken I've read it 5 times before. My oh my when I finally got the ending, because this story got stuck both on my mind and heart. My love for stories with plot twist came deeper after reading this work of O.Henry's and up until this day, I've re-read it to compare my comprehension of this story when I was 15 to my current age. Indeed, it is timeless, and I never get tired of re-reading it over and over again.
