Good cast and professional actors. Beautiful sceneries and locations! A very interesting and intriguing plot at the beginning, however the movie gets more and more confusing and loses its cinematic continuity by the finale. I still liked it because of its atmospheric flare!

Good movie, especially who likes the history and deep psychological dramas. This is a movie about indigenous decolonisation and finding own identity through the struggle of colonial powers. Music and some mythical meaning of the indigenous Maori world give this movie certain uniqueness and cultural difference.
