Drakan: The Ancients' Gates is my first gamer love, and it remains one of my favourite action RPGs. I first played it when it first came out in 2000, and this is the game that hooked me solidly into the gaming world. Twenty-four years later, I am still an avid RPGer, and I'd love to see a modern remake of this game. On PC this time, as I'm 62, and exclusively a PC gamer now (arthritis and controllers don't mix well). It's a great game that's been historically underrated.

Most of the negative reviews are after only seeing one or two episodes. While the series did have a slower start than some might like, it improved episode on episode, with Episode 4 being a brilliant homage to the original film. I've thoroughly enjoyed it and found it a satisfying continuation of the original film's story and characters.
