To enjoy this movie you have to suspend all logic. There is so much about this movie that's just wrong. Clearly it was filmed with young kids and young teenagers in mind. This movie was a retooled version of Goonies replete with 2 Spanish Carrack class wooden sailing vessels filled with gold treasure. Forget that they were 500-year-old wooden ships in a tropical climate still totally intact and that they were in a vast cavernous cave with no visible means of how they even got in there. Then on top of that we're supposed to believe that two Sikorsky sky crane helicopters, with maximum lift of 20,000 lb, could each lift an entire wooden ship filled with gold out of a vertical opening in a cave. This was just one of the more blatant examples of ridiculous screenplay but I suppose if you're 12 years old none of that matters and just the action alone is enough to keep you in your seat begging for more. But if you're an elder adult watching this drivel it's a no-go.
