The movie manages to do multiple things at the same time. We get plenty of call backs to fan favorite cartoon tropes and cameos from Ghostbusters past, while using a new set up to effectively soft relaunch the series. I can't wait to see where they take this. Unfortunately a lot of the reviews seem to forget that this is a family friendly spooky comedy. Think more Scooby Doo than paranormal activity and it shows in the "professional" reviews full of complaints about the fan service that this fan loved. My opinion? If you've ever liked anything Ghostbusters ever before, yes even the one we don't speak of, then run out and see this movie. It's weird and touching, funny and spooky, but never really scary. Great for a date or the entire family! It's amazing and I'm in love with it!
