The next day I am still thinking about this movie and the poignant messages about the social/sexual roles we are all participating in... and how (sadly) oblivious I sometimes am to those unconscious memes.
My wife and I have had many conversations about this topic and the movie really helped me see these aspects and hopefully be more aware and respectful in my consideration of others.
The movie was well scripted, funny and well timed... especially now when many "macho men" (often white christian nationalists) are threatened by these awakenings and calls for equality while they insecurely try to take us back to the repressive, patriarchal 1950s.
There was much to "get" and it went by so fast I could easily see it a second time and catch many of the subtleties I missed the first time through.
Lots of depth here for those with eyes to see.
Two thumbs up!
