I really loved this series and could not stop watching it.
Like all good sci-fi, the premise is grounded in sound concepts physics and cosmology, some real and some theoretical.
At the same time, it portrays a very touching human story. The characters grapple with difficult questions and decisions that often have no good answer.
Ultimately, the story hits at the heart of mankind's place in the universe and what might happen if and when we discover that we are not alone.
