As an adult I am horrified that an innocent childhood comic favourite has been turned into a festival of gratuitous violence, teenage sex, coercion, underage drinking and more. It is no wonder that the youth of today is so messed up with this type of role model available to them. There are daily reports (in real life) of girls and women being sexually abused by schoolboys who are exposed to this type of program which depicts this behaviour as normal. It is NOT normal and should never be depicted as such. Those of you asking if it is ok for your 11 or 12 year old to watch - NO IT IS DEFINITELY NOT. I would not recommend this for ANY teenager - it is an impressionable time of life and this is not the type of impression you want your teenagers to be exposed to.
