Brilliantly tense drama. Well acted by the entire cast. The drama about a timid nervous man, punching a bullying youth became so intense. The father of the teenager was terrific, unaware the saviour of his son was his attacker. Actually made me feel agitated, especially when the nervous attacker did everything wrong. Gripping drama.

I'm hesitant writing a review as there are so many long reviews, giving extremely in-depth interpretations of this film. Most of us just want to watch a film, then decide whether we like/hate it! We shouldn't have to analyse the story, and work out hidden meanings, and highbrow subtleties. Some reviews point to the couple going to the estate agents, looking for a house as the pointless part of mundane life! Being young, having children, growing old, then dying! I mean, there is joy in life too! It wasn't a satisfactory ending, I mean, if the hidden meaning was the depressed writer telling us we all live pointless lives from cradle to grave, should then realise the aliens had completely and utterly pointless lives. Tricking a couple to visit a huge housing estate they couldn't then escape from, why would aliens prefer their own pointless lives? The alien boy was well acted, but I must admit I wanted them to kill him! Suppose that wouldn't have worked, another baby would have been delivered! Disappointing ending!

I'll no doubt upset lots of fans of this series, especially those who absolutely love fantasy stories, or have read the books. I haven't read the books and although I easily followed the first tv series and thought the acting, CGI, sets, costumes were good, I feel there are too many plots, and the dialogue is simply unintelligible. We've sat listening wondering what the actors are talking about, it's too confusing. The original group of 5 have all separated, so there are all these sub plots, plus all the additional characters with further confusing plots! Unfortunately we've decided to give up, which is a shame. Maybe if we'd read the books it would have been better.

Expected this 'comedy' to have....laughs! No it's crude, vulgar and absolutely full of bad language. The woman playing the detective, Eddie was so bad, with her over the top acting of how she thinks a foul mouthed coarse 'butch' man would behave. All the men were either gay, violent or simply backward cretins. The women were all lesbian. What is wrong with writers now? Do they think we're all 12, and think swearing is the new funny? Lazy stereotypes, hopeless acting, unfunny. Don't bother watching.

Boring film, thankfully short. Shot in Ireland in winter, hence lots of grey sky and mist supposedly to give atmosphere, which added more gloom to this depressing film. I guessed correctly the ending, but had to yawn right to the end as surprisingly hubby watched it, all 80 boring minutes. He was surprised how I'd worked out the ending, 20 minutes in! Not worth watching.

This was a brilliant although sad film, about a lonely man who loved his dog, which was killed by a spoilt rich teenager. His fight for justice was hampered by the boys arrogant father, unprepared to accept the guilt of his son, or punish him. Great cast with the great Brian Cox. Well worth a watch.

I didn't review film before watching, so had no idea what to expect. I thought it may be decent as Tilda Swinton was in it. Turned out to be an Arabian nights type fantasy and I enjoyed it. Story told by a geni in a bottle to Tilda Swinton, who plays the part of an author Dr Binnie. It was a colourful film, full of really clever CGI. Unexpectedly a pretty good film and worth a watch.

Top marks to Robert Carlisle, Ray Winstone and Emma Thompson, I didn't recognise her at first, and with her Scotish accent too. Really good film, funny story with a great supporting cast.

Five friends on canoe/hike start getting shot, by a woman as it turned out. The scenery in a National park was good, that's about it. Maybe watching this with the German actors voices rather than a dubbed film would have improved it. My main issue is that if you were in a situation of being stalked, like prey, would you not hide, talk quietly, actually whisper at the very least? They did none of that, they talked shouted and even fought.Could have been so much better.

Great film, edge of the seat stuff. Well acted film starring Jude Law. Good to watch a film with a good pace from start to finish.
