I find The Message to be captivating and inspiring for a new or old believer in Christ Jesus. The author plainly states this is not a translation, but a paraphrase using the language ppl speak each day, He also clearly states that study Bibles are to be consulted for a deeper understanding of the Word of God. More important than any paraphrase or translation is the DAILY APPLICATION of His Word in our lives. If this prods folks into that, it is a significant accomplishment. Well done would be my estimation.
