Has anyone found out the reason the cult kidnapped Gabi? This movie had no context? Was really disjointed and confusing.

Poor casting, the relationship between morticia and Gomez was awkward and not magnetic or sexy at all!! Jenna Ortega had obviously put a lot of work into her role but it didn’t translate as odd or dark enough for my taste; Wednesday’s one liners were the saving grace of the series. Had so much potential but seemed like a watered down hipster quasi goth Sabrina the teenage witch 😔
