Maybe not a totally fair rating as I stopped at halfway, but it just had zero humour, odd plot, or no plot and it seemed so mechanical

Plot is simplistic, but I expect there to be a good bunch of cliche challenges, they deliver them well. The connection of Dad and daughter and Dad and young one are what drive this and that can't be faulted.
Easy entertainment that is not mind blowing in any unique way, but it keeps you watching and keeps you entertained.
