This book is bad on more levels than can be addressed in this review, what's more, any attempt to cover all the myriad ways in which this book is bad would require me returning to it, which I something I never ever ever want to do. Suffice it to say that if you want to know anything about Heidegger, Nietzsche and the return of the far right, look elsewhere. Briefly, his reading of Nietzsche is prejudicial, he seems to fundamentally misunderstand Heidegger, his arguments against both are contrived to the point of absurdity, and he has done literally zero research on the Alt-right. Finally he appears to believe that the global north represents some kind of free-market, liberal, democratic utopia. Honestly, unless you want to hasten an aneurysm, do not waste your time.
