I don't need to compare this show to anything to know that it's garbage. It's objectively a bad show. Poorly written and cast even worse. It's not about HIMYM, as a stand alone show it is terrible. Just, truly abysmal.

I wanted to like this show, I truly did. It possesses a lot of topics that I am usually so interested in. But in truth this show is riddled with lazy writing, poor acting and overused clichés. Let me put it into perspective, Lilo and Stitch made me cry as an adult. Yet, in this show which isn't a cartoon important character's were on the brink of death or died, and it didn't even phase me. The characters are flat, unrelateable and boring. The main character, Jack, couldn't seem to keep a straight face to get through any of his lines. The "love story" is convoluted, and I hate to bust out the slang, but cringey. What really did me in was the ending if the show. In an attempt not to give out any major spoilers I'll leave it at this: what a cop out. The ending leaves me as the viewer feeling like I wasted my time. Even before that it was hard to keep my attention, as the entire story seems stretched and under written. I'm disappointed to say the least.
