BRAHMASTRA PART ONE: SHIVA boasts of powerful visuals. It is a visual extravaganza bundled with enough mythological themes to keep the audience captivated till the end. However the movie also has some obvious flaws. The film's story feels basic, predictable and over-simplistic, the dialogues are badly written, and a frustrating amount of film's narrative focuses on the love life of the protagonist. As a result the bigger picture doesn't receive the necessary attention it deserves. I think If the unnecessary parts about love story could have been avoided the impact would have been stronger.
On the whole, Brahmastra is a good action drama that has an interesting backdrop but I don't think it’s going to leave anyone holding their breath for its sequel.
