this was my summer read last year, in 2023, and it still has me in a chokehold. it's beautifully written, and if you're looking for a romance book that also has emotional depth, look no further because this book is perfect in every way. it's the most amazing book to put in your bag for the beach, or for anywhere you find the space to read. if your someone who gets impatient like me, it takes a minute to get the storyline rolling, but don't give up on it! and also, spare yourself and don't watch the movie lmao !!

i really don’t get the hate comments on this movie! it was so amazing and this is one of the first times I’ve seen a fantasy movie really nail the setting, outfits, and even the way they talk was perfection! all these people are saying there was bad acting… talk to me when you’ve received multiple emmys and oscars and we’ll debate it then. yes the princess turned warrior scene might have been a bit traditional for these types of movies, but then you would’ve been mad if it wasn’t traditional enough? all in all, this movie was great and I truly loved every bit of it. stop hating on a wonderful movie!!
