SPOILERS WARNING
Ok guys, I will level with you: This movie SUCKED. PERIOD. The only good thing about the movie was the visual effects.
If you were expecting some major cameos, hilarious comments from Deadpool, or any of the events that transpired from Loki, What If, or SpiderMan No Way Home, you will be dissapointed. None of the events that transpired from those MCU projects were at all talked about in this movie. The whole; "We should tell him the truth." line was what I was hoping to refer to what happened in Loki and SpiderMan but NO this was just garbage.
I don't know how many cameos and scenes were cut and reshot but if you were expecting significant characters to have significant roles for future MCU you have wasted your time, commitment, and money.
I am sorry to all the other WandaVision lovers out there who were expecting something better. But Wanda was the villian here and clearly in the wrong about everything. I was expecting a clash with the Living Tribunal or Mephisto or literrally anybody else but the one villian has been Wanda the whole time and nobody kills off Charles Xavier and still deserves to be called a hero after this trash of a movie. Patrick Stewart came out of X-men retirement to play his role and he was supposed to be insanely powerful and they did his character so wrong by killing him so awefull. The entire Illuminati's deaths were horrible and too frightening. I loved that they brought in Black Bolt and Captain Carter but they got killed so horrible that it makes their skills seem like a joke. And Captain Marvel went toe-to-toe with Thanos in Endgame and survived a punch from the power stone; even for a variant of her; HOW THE HECK DOES A FALLING STATUE KILL SOMEONE HAS POWERFUL AS HER?!!! THE LOGIC OF HER DEATH MAKES NO SENSE!!!
In the end, apparently we are supposed to love and sympathize for Wanda but after seeing what she did to so many characters I liked and the way she was portrayed; she does not deserve my praise nor my respect not as a hero nor a parent. In this movie she knew exactly what she was doing; it wasn't Mephisto or anyone it was all her. Honestly it makes Agatha Harkness seem like the hero for trying to stop her in the first place and yet they didn't bother introducing her character nor vision or anybody of significance. You can't just purposely light a fire, then put it out, and expect to be praised when you were the one who started it in the first place. That example pretty much sums up this film.
What has happened to Marvel? Things were fine up until Endgame and things started going downhill. Besides Chang chi and Spiderman, both of which I REALLY LOVED BY THE WAY, it seems like Marvel has forgotten its roots and what made the characters so iconic in the first place. So many talented actors did their best to join the MCU and this movie did not do any of them justice. How can Wanda be considered a hero after this? I don't know and I don't want to know either. If this is how Marvel wants to bring together the Avengers, X-men, and fantastic 4 in the future then it is just going to be nonesense and garbage plus more garbage.
There were too many horror scenes for me to keep track of. Once Black Bolt eyeballs Wanda, my advice is look away because what Wanda does to his mouth is going to traumatize me so much I don't think I can sleep tonight. Don't waste your money on this garbage of wasted potential.
Honestly Marvel, do better.
