Jason Hader

This is one of the best shows honestly. Sometimes when shows and movies take their time, they seem boring. This show takes its time and manages to be delightful. There's a bit of everything: fantasy, magic, a kingdom, sword fighting, magical creatures, family drama, romance, and even a good bit of humor. This is an absolutely epic story, and the writers even allow our heroes to satisfyingly win from time to time. Most of the characters are moral and reasonably kind. Though there's romance, it's strictly conservative. You'll only see mild kissing and very little of it. Plenty of repression and romantic tension that's mostly used in cute ways to torture our favorite characters. Great special effects, and absolutely magical set design. Some scenes have a Disney vibe because the sets are so perfect.

I can't think of another Western I like better. It's oddly a warm-hearted movie with some emotional performances.

My favorite Guy Ritchie movie. Entertaining, smart, dumb, witty. It's great.
