Brenda Hsueh

A lot to enjoy in this movie but felt like Miyazaki had to take studio notes to add in a big stakes plot with Uncle who wants him to take over the dream world. I wish it was just about his having to save his stepmom/aunt and learning to love her and reconnecting with his mom. It's a little like Japanese animated version of the movie Labyrinth where girl has to save her little brother she doesn't like in a wild fantasy world.
