"Life Through My Eyes" is a fantastically written diary that blends poetry and prose to paint the picture of a full life. It is clear through the writing that Rose Bingham has a wealth of experience to share that spans a wide spectrum, including those that are reserved for those native Wisconsinites like herself. She reflects on life, art, death, war, eagles, fireflie, the color black... Her writing engages you and makes you feel a part of her life.
I particularly enjoyed reading about her bungee jumping experience. He descriptions made me feel like I was there with her, leaping into the New Zealand sky as a Sauk Prairie eagle.
