Don West was fantastic in the first season. If you make him deceptive, he loses his charm. His charm is that his heart for people (and chickens) keeps getting in the way of his self-love.
Dr. Psychopath is not appealing. She is crazy. Not fun. The original Dr. was nutty, but driven by fear, not malice, and he was funny. Its just not the same fit.
Mom and Dad are great together, please do not demonize Dad. He is sorely needed.
