So many of these poor reviews are absolute nonsense. I was skeptical for a portion of the first episode but so far [ONLY 2 episodes in] it seems great - and too early to be so scathing in opinions.
Seeing the early days of hobbits, dwarves, elves and humans has been exciting. New faces and old presenting an interesting depiction of the Age and unfolding danger. Sure it’s not a direct adaption of Tolkien’s work but it’s not as far off as people are making it sound. It’s a show, after all. Looking forward to seeing where it goes from here!
