Loved the intensity of the film. Of course, it is deeply disturbing and haunting. A true psychological drama, and all the complaints about the movie’s slow pace are understandable. however, that’s what one should expect from a film of this genre.
Living in New England, we watched news footage of Mary Kay Letourneau over and over and over as this was such a monumental and horrendous news story.
I have never been a Natalie Portman fan, and in general don’t like her acting at all. This film was no exception.
Julianne Moore does superb job, and Charles Melton, who was unfamiliar to me was superb.
