Loved the relationships, the characters, the story telling - was thrilled at first to see polyamory/consensual and ethical non-monogamy explored on TV, but was confused as to why they didnt ever use the word - that was until the last episode’s narrative revealed that the writer views polyamory as some kind of trauma response, which i found not only discontinuous with the original genesis of their new relationship agreement, but a deeply disappointing, misguided and dismissive narrative about why people choose polyamory.
