It was ok. I like Adam Sandler and can appreciate him trying to take on a more serious, dramatic role. His performance was good. Adam Sandler's iconic mannerisms are purveyed throughout his performance in a way that seemed to make dire situations humorous. However, this took away from the tension and ended up making supposedly serious scenes appear goofy. (semi-spoiler) I'm also confused why Howard (played by Adam S.) didn't just hire bodyguards, which he so obviously required throughout the entire movie.
Uncut Gems was an ok movie. It captured my intrigue for its duration but failed to leave a meaningful impression on me.
