Fantastic history, totally credible, very readable, utterly persuasive. My husband, who is a university professor, and I wish every young person,and indeed all Americans, would read this book and gain a true understanding of their country. I’d like to add that we have si- milar feelings about the writings of Michael Parenti, whose primary focus is on America’s international relations. Both of these men are brilliant scholars whose writings reveal the truth, the brutal underside of America’s history and political orientation. Riveting reading and remarkably informative.
