The film starts off great, then it just goes flat. Dev seems to be traveling a lot all through Pakistan and India. But there is so much lost opportunity for some great cinematography of the traveling. But it's all shots of Dev switching cars, transferring luggage and close up of Dev driving. There is very little dialog for the characters, no real explanation and back story. You feel like something is always missing. There is a very slow build up towards the end and again it's flat. This could have been a great movie, but the movie lacks flow and story telling that you need for a crime movie.

Anyone who has worked in Social Services, will see how authentic this series depicts poverty, abuse and a broken system. The acting is raw and real by the whole cast. If this doesn't get nominated for an Emmy and Golden Globe. There is great injustice in the world. One the best limited series snice the Queens Gabit.

My friend told me for about 2 years to check out this show. I finally did and binged it, up to the latest episode. It's not just about football, it's a show about family, class, race relations, sexuality and gang violence in South Central LA, and addictions. It's more then just teenage drama and long triangles and teens who party. Just give it watch, it's underrated for the topics the show touches.

I'm not black, I am a person of color and i appreciate the story telling in this series. It's a good rom-com of a TV show. I just started watching a week ago. Binged all 4 seasons within a week, now I am rewatching again because I always feel like I have missed something. The female relationships and the empowerment of woman, mostly black will keep me watching. Also Issa and Keelie are the best characters!
